Known for salt production, the sunburnt islands of Sinan County can be recognized as the slave islands of South Korea. Five times in the last ten years cases involving the disabled have been raised and in 2015, fifty Korean salt farm owners and regional job brokers were indicted on crimes involving modern-day slavery.
